Jacob married Jane Hardin. was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina, in 1791 and died in the 1870s.

Tabithia was born 22 December 1804, but her death date is not recorded. Their son, Gabriel Moss, Jr., married Mary Jane Collins, and their son George W. Moss married Martha A.
